As we wrap up these stories with great lessons, I realized that I’ve never had a real conversation with my daughter. Despite the fact that I used to say I had a lot to share with her, I used the excuse of being busy. My daughter was forced to understand this "busy" mom just because I wanted her to. I assumed that she should be able to understand the circumstances because we are family. Now, I have come to realize the importance of sharing our thoughts and worries as we look into each other’s eyes. My daughter also says that spending time with her family makes her feel happy. We have decided to try our best to have family meetings, family debates and family games on a regular basis so it just doesn't end up being an empty promise.
While these stories were introduced to my family due to an external motivation, they made us realize the power of family. A real family, as reliable supporters of each other, will keep their faith and trust in each other even when they are far apart.
